A vCISO is a third-party service that provides businesses with a virtual Chief Information Security Officer. The vCISO is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity program for the business. This includes identifying potential cyber threats, developing policies and procedures, and conducting regular security audits.
The vCISO works closely with the business’s IT department to ensure that all systems are secure and that all employees are trained on cybersecurity best practices. Additionally, the vCISO is available to provide guidance and support in the event of a cyber attack.
